I think it was the IWFF event. I was doing a presentation for the coettimme that year. I had the keys to the city if the group agreed to hold the convention in Calgary the following year. They chose South Padre Island instead. The new event organizer who won the bid to host the event the following year, quit a few weeks before the event but the event was not cancelled. Disappointing for me for sure because given the opportunity, I would have thrown a five star event. I did my presentation again for the second year in a row for the coettimme at the South Padre Island event. I thought surely they would take me up on my generous offer to host the event the following year after what had just shaken down.Again they turned down my proposal. I didn't go back after that. Years pass. I put my energy into other projects . I founded Casting For Recovery Canada, launched a line of outdoor wear and founded an award winning production company.Funny, I get this email from you, and I hear that IWFF are holding the event in Calgary this year .I may have to go.
